If you're hoping to start your undergraduate course at university in 2023 read on.

At Essex, we're impatient for change. Our students and graduates have always been committed to changing the world around them, in big and small ways, and if you choose to study at Essex, we'll empower you to do the same. To help you succeed, we've launched the University Preparation Programme which is an online short course made up of six modules. It covers topics like revision skills, independent learning, how to apply for university, student finance as well as how to write a stand out personal statement

Exploring a range of both study skills and higher education modules, this online course is designed to support you in your current learning as well as helping you make a successful application and transition to university.

You can sign-up for the course now by following these simple steps:

 
1. Register with 'Open Essex', the online platform this course will take place on. You’ll need to select ‘Create new account’ at the bottom of the page.
 
2. Confirm your account by clicking the link in the email sent to you.
 
3. Enrol on the University Preparation Programme by logging into Open Essex and pressing ‘Enrol now’ on the course.
