Your username and password give you access to most University IT services. You must not share your password with anyone.
The Registration Office will contact you by email or post to let you know when and how you can collect your IT account details. This usually happens shortly after your application has been processed and you have been accepted.
Once you receive notification, you can get your account details online.
You should change your password immediately if you've just got your account. After we won't ask you to change your password again, unless it's for security reasons.
If you create a passphrase, security question and answer, and provide us with an alternative email address, you can reset your password online.
