Seedcorn Grants

ESSEXLab have funding available for University of Essex postgraduate research students and academic or professional services staff. We give competitive awards for research for up to £2,500 to help you develop your ideas into long-term research projects.

Seedcorn grants are designed for lab-ready projects that can be carried out by the end of the financial year. The project must use human participants and follow normal ESSEXLab guidelines.  We prioritise projects that incorporate experiments and we encourage you to use ESSEXLab mobile or our new biometric equipment as part of your project.
