Biography

Yikai Wang joined the University of Essex as a Lecturer in September 2019. He was awarded a PhD degree in Economics with summa cum laude from the University of Zurich in 2014 and was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Oslo during 2014--2019. His papers have been published in the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, etc. Research interests: Political Economy, Macro Labor, Optimal Taxation, Chinese Economy.
