My role includes Raising the profile of research and celebrating successes such as awards, funding announcements and events by working with academics across the Faculty of Social Sciences to secure regional, national and international mainstream and social media coverage I can help academics to raise their professional profile by Proactively promoting your research project/paper and its findings to appropriate and relevant media outlets Helping you to provide reactive expert commentary for media outlets on the news stories of the day. Providing one-to-one advice and training. Boosting social media activity through the Faculty departmental Twitter accounts and support for Twitter promotion. Identifying opportunities to write for The Conversation and pitching ideas to its editors.
