 Caroline Robinson

Profile

Biography

Caroline qualified as an Occupational Therapist from UEA in 2001. After qualifying she worked on a rotation which spanned across all sectors from acute hospitals, to mental health to paediatrics. Caroline was appointed a permanent position in social care in 2006 and, working flexibly, has also gained over 7 years-experience working in private practice since 2011. Over the last few years Caroline has delivered lectures for the School of Health and Social Care as an external clinician. She commenced as a part-time lecturer in Occupational Therapy in September 2021. She continues to practice occupational therapy in social care for the rest of the week. An area of practice she feels strongly about is addressing the inequalities and inconsistencies in manual handling training which is delivered to health, social care and the care sector market. It is an area she would like to support research in to influence positive changes.
