Nikki Pockett

Biography

Nikki is responsible for supporting researchers from across the university and external organisations to plan for and develop knowledge exchange projects and actvity. Nikki provides guidance on: Strategic KE planning within SHSC, SRES, Psychology and SLS Identification of Tender and Quotation opportunities, and preparation of responses Project costings (via Unit4) for KE-related projects Stakeholder/account management Tracking, monitoring and collecting data pertaining to the KEF The potential impact of your KE project Applications to internal and external funds such as Innovation vouchers, Enterprise Project Fund, IAA, KEEP+ and TALE Nikki also: Highlights opportunities for cross-departmental research projects Supports the incorporation of KE and IP into grant applications Acts as an intermediary on contracting, ethics and partnership management issues Identifies new potential external and internal partners/beneficiaries Connects academics with colleagues in Enterprise and Research, Communication and External Relations and the Centre for Public Engagement.
