Iakovos Makropoulos is a Lecturer in Political Behaviour and Quantitative Methods. He has a broad range of research interests on the fields of Political Behaviour, Comparative Politics and Political Methodology. Iakovos is a member of the research team that is responsible of collecting data on election candidates in the UK on behalf of the Comparative Candidate Survey (CCS) project, and a member of an established research group that conducts research on election candidates in the UK General Elections. His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the European Political Science Review, the Party Politics, and the Journal of Election, Public Opinion and Parties.
