Biography
I am currently working as a Consultant Physiotherapist as a band 8B at Queens Way Surgery NHS Trust in Southend-on-Sea. I teach on an ad-hoc basis MSK and neurology as part of non-medical prescribing course at University of Essex. I am also studying a Phd with Professor Jo Jackson. Previously, I worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner / Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist in MSK CATS and Chronic Pain Services at Whittington Hospital NHS Trust and as a Ward Manager in Trauma and Orthopaedic Ward at Basildon Hospital as well as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in General Practice treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and seeing complex neurology patients in their home environment. I am a qualified Manual Handling Trainer and Ergonomic Work Place Assessor and worked at Southend Hospital as a Manual Handling adviser and trainer.
