Before you arrive
First you need to print off or your Arrivals pass (which is available at the end of your e-induction) or have it available electronically and have your ID, as you will need this to collect your key. You can collect your keys from the start date of your contract. When you arrive, take your Arrivals pass to reception, where you will be given an envelope with a map of the building (to show you where you need to go) and your keys.
If you are not able to bring certain items with you, such as bedding and kitchen items, then you have the option to order these from Essex Essentials. If you are an October start student, then you can order these and have them delivered to your room for your arrival (ordering deadline terms apply). If you are ordering at any other time of the year, then these have to be collected from reception.
When can I arrive?
The date you can arrive at your accommodation will vary depending on which course you are attending. Your arrival date is the start date of your contract and can be found in your accommodation offer letter or license (Allocation Letter).
