If you're a visitor with a disability, please let a member of staff know so they can advise you on accessible routes around campus, or conduct a separate tour if necessary.

Speaking to academic staff

You can meet our staff and our academic departments to find answers to all of your questions about doing a postgraduate degree at Essex, and you can also chat with our staff and students online whenever suits you either before, during or after the event.

Industrial action

We just wanted to let you know that industrial action will be taking place during your visit. This means that there may be picket lines at the entrances to the University. Don't worry, the Open Evening will otherwise go ahead as planned.

The industrial action is being held nationwide by members of the University and College Union (UCU) at universities across the country in response to proposed changes to the pension benefits for academic staff.
