Undergraduate study:
Socrates-Erasmus Office
At the University of Essex the international dimension of higher
education is highly valued.
It is possible for students to add a period of study abroad, either to an
Essex degree, or by attending Essex whilst taking a degree elsewhere.
What does the Study Abroad Office do?
The Study Abroad Office
administers all aspects of the University's study abroad activity.
This means that we support:
- Essex students who want to include a term or year abroad in their
degrees
- Students from other universities who want to spend a term or year
abroad at Essex
- Staff visits to partner institutions via the ERASMUS programme
- Exchange and other relationships with universities all over the
world, including staff exchange
