Bringing
together a team of staff with expertise in professional development,
curriculum innovation and aspects of e-learning, the LTU provides advice and
guidance on a wide range of projects and a comprehensive programme of
professional development for academic staff, research staff, GTAs, GD's,
GLA's and PhD
students. |

Current activities include: the design and implementation of an
employability skills framework and training programme; research into
diagnostic testing for students at the point of entry; and wide-scale
engagement with PDP and the University's ePortfolio system.
