We have three-terms during the academic year. Our key dates for you to watch out for include the start and end of our Autumn, Spring and Summer terms, registration, examinations and graduation.

Please note that some teaching dates for students vary according to your campus, degree level and course.

If you have a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK you will need to make sure you are aware of the term dates that apply to you and understand your visa conditions and responsibilities. Further information on your studies and Tier 4 is available to read on our website.

East 15 (Loughton) Campus

  • Students from East 15 graduate at the Colchester Campus. Details as to which day the ceremony will be held on will be available in the Spring term.

Southend Campus

Students whose Boards of Examiners meet in sufficient time will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony at Colchester Campus on the week commencing 15 July (provisional).

Students who are unable to attend the graduation ceremony at Colchester campus due to the dates of the meetings of Boards of Examiners, will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony on a future date (yet to be confirmed). The Graduation Office website has further information.

Clearing 2012

  • Clearing will take place immediately after A-level results are published in August 2012.
